Rather large aluminum formed foundation near Berkely Springs, WV. This project featured several wall heights up to 12' tall as well as a circular turret and several angles. Also curved retaining walls were added. Well over 200 cubic yards of concrete and 3 tons of rebar was used on this project's foundation, slabs and patios.
While framing crew is seen installing steel beams, Kimmel Construction began form work for curved rear retaining walls. Also seen is our installed waterproofing membrane, integral slab support ledge for the garage slab, and a better view of the circular turret.
Another project in WV is seen in this photo. This is a hillside project. On this project subwalls were required due to the slope of the lot. Steel rebar seen protruding from the lower and garage walls was bent into the slabs for added stability.
